How to earn Google My Business (GMB) Certification from Google

Google Maps and Google search is very familiar in our daily life now a days. If we have to find any business or location, we directly go on google search and look for the that business information and found that business details with directions.

That business listing create by a tool called Google My Business (GMB). A business owner or company place their business listing on google maps through that tool. That tools has multiple options to optimize to setup a business listing with complete details i.e Photos, logo, Banners, Products, Services and other contact details (Email and Phone). By using this tool a business owner can load all its business information into the google map and optimize it to interact with its customers.

How to earn this certificate?

If you are interested to earn this certificate. You have to enroll your google (Gmail) profile in google Skill Shop. This program is designed by Google and powered by INTELLUM. Yes its the same where Facebook Blueprints host. 

You have to follow these steps. 

• You have to register in Skill Shop by using the same Google (Gmail) account. All your earned certificates will be save in that account. So, make sure you select the right account that you can enable for public to showcase your certificate.  
• Select the course you are interested to learn. There are many other skills available you can select Google my business Basic. This course does not require Prerequisites.
• Learn the course and complete all the classes. 
• Once you complete the classes and finish the course, there will be a small test to test your skills that you learned in course. This will be an online course and you have to finish it with in given time.  

Once you finished test, The program will give you the certificate if you passed the test. If you failed then you have to re-attempt the test. After passing the test, This certificate will be linked to your account and you can also download its PDF copy for print usage. For digital purpose, the certificate will be available on Link that you can share with Public.
